Our Story

Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time

At New Leaf Clinic, we provide our patients with access to life-changing therapy, along with caring healthcare professionals, dedicated to your treatment. In 2017, New Leaf Clinic opened our doors to patients in the city of Louisville, Ky.  Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those struggling with mental illness and addiction in a safe environment — with hopes of earning a reputation as the best Mental Health Clinic in the area. The owner, as the daughter of a recovering addict (as he called himself) and a psychiatrist, combines her personal experience and formal education to provide evidenced-based treatment from the heart.

We are located in the West End of Louisville, Ky.

New Leaf is in loving memory of Micheal T. White.

Our Services

NEW LEAF DAY PROGRAM

For Severe and Persistent Mental Illness

Our purpose is to assure that a person diagnosed with a severe mental illness, has the opportunity to possess the physical, emotional, and cognitive skills necessary to live, learn and work in their own environment.

An assessment of needs will be completed and a treatment plan formulated to meet these needs.  Daily groups are provided by a counselor, art therapist, music therapist, peer support specialist, nurse and psychiatrist.

We provide coffee, fruit, and snack daily. We also provide transportation to people who live in zip codes 40211 and 40212.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE RECOVERY

Vivitrol/Suboxone - For opioid and alcohol use disorders

MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT

We provide an assessment of substance abuse disorders and determine whether or not you would be appropriate for treatment with suboxone or Vivitrol. This is a life-changing treatment that allows people to take their lives back.

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT THERAPY

At New Leaf, we understand that addiction has biological and psychological origins. We provide group therapy for our patients to give them the best chance at sobriety. Includes groups led by peer support specialists and therapists.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Connecting You to Resources

Our case manager will do an assessment of needs and connect them to the necessary resources.

PEER SUPPORT PROGRAM

Care from Your Perspective

Our peer support program for people struggling with addiction and mental illness. It provides patients with treatment from a perspective from people who, themselves, have fought with addiction and are able to share their path to recovery. A very powerful program that has touched our members in meaningful ways.
